Welcome to the Choir Parent Organization Website.
We are a parent organization developed to foster and promote interest in the Vocal Music Programs at Kenton Ridge High School and Middle School. We also assist with fundraising to support and enrich the growth and development of all of the Kenton Ridge Choirs. Please help support our talented choirs and amazing Choir Director, Valerie Buckley.
WHAT WE DO
Our Mission
To create and maintain an enthusiastic interest in the various programs of the Vocal Music Department.

To provide sound financial assistance through fundraising activities, and through the acceptance of donations of the Kenton Ridge High School and Northridge Middle School Vocal Music Programs.

To build and maintain an organization of parents which will help promote the Vocal Music Departments.

HOW DOES THIS BOOSTER ORGANIZATION HELP MY CHILD?
FUNDRAISING
Most people do not realize the expenses that are involved with a vocal musical program. Some expenses include purchasing music, piano maintenance and tuning, paying an accompanist for each performance, competition and other performance fees and travel, and other music enrichment opportunities.
The goal of our booster program is to help raise money to help cover these fees and enable more opportutunities for our choirs.

ANNUAL MUSICAL
Each year Kenton Ridge's Drama Department provides the opportunity for Kenton Ridge High School students to perform in as a cast or orchestra member, or to be a member of the tech crew in the Spring Musical. Choir Boosters pitch in wherever we can, this includes but is not limited to assistance with organizing and providing brunch for the cast, crew, and musicians on the day of the final performance, help with ticket sales / collection before each show, and creating and selling floral and candy bouquets,
and concessions to raise money for the Vocal Music Programs.
ANNUAL VARIETY SHOW
Every spring The Kenton Ridge High School Music Department works with KR students to produce the annual Variety Show. It showcases the talent of students through music, singing, dancing, sketch comedy and other amazing acts. The Choir Boosters assists with tickets and concessions, and provides candy and flower bouquet to purchase for the performers.
